Our Kickstarter campaign has won.
December 9th is the day the campaign is officially over, but we've reached our goal. We are very grateful.
We will celebrate by playing songs from the album with 6 aerialists at Big Sky Works in Brooklyn.

By the power of Classic Album Night, we were asked to perform an album of our choosing all the way through. We chose Van Halen's first album, Van Halen. The album is very short so we added "Mean Streets". Here is the first song from that album:

The winner for the Thrillist.com contest was Jean Loscalzo. We were expecting someone who wanted to quit the job and draw comics like did. Jean was bit by a sand fly that gave her a parasitic disease. Now, she is a test subject in a study that is currently keeping her alive. You can read more about her on our blog.

.357 Lover has been working on a new album the past few weeks. Don't expect it to drop anytime soon you probably won't hear it before mid- to late summer. Do expect it to be very good. There are lots of great songs, and lots of great and talented people involved. Stay tuned, be patient, and get excited.

.357 Lover has a new video on YouTube for the song "Event Horizon." The video has over 30,000 views so far between YouTube and blip.tv, and the number is growing. The video was featured on G4 TV's "Attack of the Show," and has been getting some attention around the web. The track can be purchased both on iTunes and our merch/media page, if anyone is interested. The Knitting Factory residency is drawing to a close this week. Each show has been full of spectacular acts, and we've had pretty nice turnout for a Tuesday night thing--there's one left, on the 26th, so don't miss out. The first show in the Knitting Factory residency was a great success-- we will be there every Tuesday night in January. This week there will be a great mix of comedy, music, and burlesque. We will begin recording our next full-length release in February, and will be introducing some new material during these January shows-- a sneak preview, of sorts. Come by every week. It's only 5 bucks, it starts at 8, and even if you stay for the whole thing, you'll be out of there by midnight. A no-brainer on a Tuesday night.

Diorama of the Golden Lion is now available for download through Amazon and iTunes. You can now hear samples of each track on our merch/media page. The band is currently in their secret hideout working on top-secret things. Maybe you will hear about some of them in mid-2010. There will be a residency at the Brooklyn Knitting Factory every Tuesday in January '10 with extra-special guests-- each show will be different, and each something you will not want to miss.

We have some great new photos up--have a look.
Some upcoming shows-- Asbury Park, NJ this week, Boston near the end of the month, possibly an upstate NY date, maybe a mini-tour in November-December, and maybe some European dates. We'll post details once they're firmed up.

A lot going on lately! .357 Lover recently did a taping for the nationally-broadcast major network television program Fearless Music, which should air soon. A couple of us recently did an in-studio performance on East Village Radio (listen here) to promote the upcoming CD Diorama of the Golden Lion, which is due out Sept. 29. We also took some great new photos of the new lineup, which should be up soon. Finally, our CD release is scheduled for Oct. 2 at Brooklyn Bowl with Tragedy and others. We're in Philly this weekend, and finally Corn Mo has been doing some great fan fiction on the .357 Lover blog. More to come!
